Qleisure offers go karting experiences for children aged 8 - 17 years.

The session starts with a NKA safety video briefing followed by further safety instructions from a NKA marshal. The talk includes how to drive the kart in the current weather conditions, how to take the bends, breaking points and drivers line. The kids are then kitted up with safety equipment; gloves, helme, rib guard, neck bracet and overalls.

Next is a practice session, this is usually for a fair amount of time so the kids can get used to the track and go karts. If further tuition and instruction is needed after practice laps it will be given.

Ages 14 - 17

Now the real fun starts, engines are running, hearts are pumping, the lights turn green and their off! Straight into the famous 'Hells Drop' the races have started. Each child gets 4 race heats and their points, lap times and position are all displayed on the computer screens. After the 4 heats the points are totalled then its time for the final, this is the race were the winner takes all.

The races take part on the small track, the same karts are used as we would for the adult sessions. Capable of up to 45mph this is not for the faint hearted, safety is of paramount and children that cant compete at this level will not be able to take part in the races.

Ages 8 - 14

The younger ones will take part in a long practice session learning the drive line and points on the track to over take. There is also a pace kart for this practice session setting a safe pace for the kids to follow. After the practice if all children are succesfull at controlling the kart then there is a small race to finish the party.

Although there is only 1 race in the younger party the kids still get plenty of track time and enjoy every second of the driving. This session can also be put towards their driving licence to take part in the Qleisure Kids Karting Championship.

The races take part on the small track, Biz 120 childrens karts are used. Safety iis of paramount and children that cant compete at this level will not be able to take part in the race.

The children will be outside and during the winter and wet weather the track becomes cold and very wet. We recommend the children wear appropriate footwear and clothing i.e. trainers, long sleeves and trousers. Gloves, overalls, and crash helmet are supplied.
